Refund Policy Information

Private Instruction

Private program students may withdraw from their program up to the mid-point of the term of their enrollment, based on the maximum number of weeks stipulated in the terms and conditions, and receive a refund for tuition not used. During promotional campaign periods, alternative fixed terms may apply. Refunds will be made at the standard rate valid at the time of registrations, and applicable to the number of lessons actually taken, not enrolled for.

Semi-Private Instruction

There is no refund for Berlitz Semi-Private programs unless Berlitz is unable to for a group or the requisite size, in which case a total refund will be made.

Ticket To...Programs

Berlitz Ticket To… programs are non-refundable. 

eBerlitz Self Study Programs

eBerlitz Self Study programs are non-refundable.

eBerlitz Fusion 100% Money-Back Guarantee

Buyers of eBerlitz Fusion get a 90 day 100% money-back guarantee when they purchase the product directly from Berlitz (proof of purchase required). If you are not satisfied with eBerlitz Fusion, contact fusion@berlitz.us within 90 days of purchase, and we will return your money, no questions asked.
Once your request has been received and processed, Berlitz will issue a refund check or credit your credit card account for the purchase price -- less applicable taxes.

This guarantee is only valid in the United States.
 

Berlitz ecommerce — Terms and Conditions of registration 

The terms and conditions outlined below apply to ecommerce registration, and are valid for Berlitz Virtual Classroom Private or Semi-Private programs.

1. All fees must be paid in advance
2. Each lesson is 45-minutes long, including a short break. A minimum of two consecutive lesson will be scheduled per session.
3. Number of lessons per program is as follows:
   •       Private instruction - 45 lessons per level (flexible schedule)
   •       Semi-Private instruction - 60 lesson per level (fixed schedule)
   •       Ticket To… - 10 lessons per program (fixed schedule)
4. Berlitz supervisors may monitor/observe instruction for training or quality assurance
5. The normal term (length) for a Private program is 10 weeks per level, and up to 20 weeks for a Semi-Private program.
6. Students may re-schedule Private lessons by requesting the change before 3:00 PM of the working day preceding the scheduled lessons. If notification is late, or no notification is received, student will be charged for the scheduled lessons not taken, regardless of the reason.
7. Private students may withdraw up to the mid-point of their program, and receive a refund for lessons not taken. Lessons taken will be charges at standard rates, currently $73.00/lesson, which may be greater than the rate applied for the program.
8. There is no refund for Berlitz Semi-Private programs unless Berlitz is unable to for a group or the requisite size, in which case a total refund will be made. The schedule for Semi-Private programs is fixed.
9. There is no refund for Berlitz Ticket To… programs. The schedule for Ticket To… is fixed.
10. There is a $100 non-refundable registration fee for all new students.
