She has spent nearly a decade working and living in Japan, speaks Japanese and has studied Chinese. Sue is the co-author of the book Business Passport to Japan: Revised and Updated, and essential guide for anyone doing business with Japan.
Description: Japan, one of the largest, most technologically advanced economies in the world, still remains a country steeped in history and tradition. Japan’s rich and sometimes confounding culture has an impact on daily life and business interactions; therefore, understanding how fundamental Japanese concepts such as kata, wa, and nemawashi influence the business landscape is key to success when working with Japanese clients, colleagues and corporations.
