Housing Options

To help our students feel comfortable during their stay, Berlitz Study Abroad offers several housing options. All accommodations, whether a private home or large hotel, are specially selected for proximity to your Language Center location; consideration is also given to the overall quality and location convenience within a city.

Home Stay

A very popular option for Berlitz Study Abroad students, living with a host family can provide unique insight into the culture of the country you’re visiting. You’ll experience family life and daily routines, plus practice your new language in comfortable surroundings with native speakers. Home Stay students enjoy a private bedroom with a private or shared bath. Breakfast and dinner are generally eaten with the host family.

Hotels, Inns, Motels, and Bed & Breakfasts

If you prefer the privacy and amenities of staying in a hotel or similar facility, Berlitz can provide a list of recommended accommodations close to your Language Center at a discounted corporate rate.

Short-term Apartment Rentals

Berlitz can assist students who are staying abroad for an extended period of time in renting a furnished apartment.

Additional Services and Options

To help provide you with a complete experience on your trip abroad, Berlitz offers a number of optional services and programs at additional cost. We can provide airport pick-up or drop-off services at your request. We can also assist you with obtaining travel health insurance. For business students at advanced functional language levels, we can often arrange visits to local companies as part of your learning program.
